Maintain a network of community resources.
Remain up to date on birth related research and issues.
Provide 2 prenatal visits to discuss your birth preferences.
Communicate with you throughout the pregnancy.
Encourage communication between you and your care provider.
Be on call 24/7 from 38 weeks of your pregnancy.
Provide early labor support via phone.
Provide continual labor support, with the exception of breaks for personal needs.
Provide a back-up doula in the event that I am not able to attend your birth due to unforeseen circumstances.
Strive to maintain a calm and peaceful birth environment.

Provide support during the immediate postpartum before departure.

Provide a postpartum visit to review the birth and provide resources as requested.
